Katherine S. Moye has enjoyed an extensive and varied career in the practice of family law and juvenile law. Before joining the firm in 1997, she served as an attorney for Catawba County where she handled civil child abuse cases and prosecuted cases pursuant to the county’s IV-D child support program. She also served as an associate with James, McElroy & Diehl in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she focused her practice exclusively on family law.
Katie is an attorney who demonstrates a commitment to achieving ever-higher levels of professional excellence. She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Louisiana State University in 1991, where she was also an inductee of the Phi Kappa Phi and the Phi Beta Kappa honor societies. She later graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s School of Law in 1994.
Katie was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in 1994. She is currently a member of the Wake County Bar Association and the North Carolina Bar Association, Family Law Section.
Katie has earned the top rating (AV®) in Martindale Hubbell and is a member of the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers.
