Robert E. Howard, Jr. is the firm's lead trial attorney for the firm's Wake County litigation.  He graduated cum laude from Wake Forest University and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina.  Upon graduation, Rob joined Howard, McCoy & Bolton, LLP and earned his place as a partner in 2009.

Rob was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in 2003. He is currently a member of the Wake County Bar Association and the North Carolina Bar Association, Family Law Section. He prepared the paper given by Robert E. Howard, Sr. to the North Carolina Family Law Specialists, entitled:  'Challenging Social Services, Family Law in Bush's America, Challenging the System'.

Rob has earned the highest peer rating (AVR) in Martindale Hubbell and has  been recognized as a 2013 Raising Star in North Carolina Super Lawyers.

Rob is the proud father of three wonderful children. He is involved in his church, a member of the Wake Forest University Deacon Club and the North Carolina Museum of Art. He plays guitar in several bands. When he is not at work, he participates in community events and stays current on the latest advances in the law.
